What is the purpose of LabyCarMalta.com?

LabyCarMalta.com is a platform available to visitors for browsing or becoming aware of commercial offers of vehicles (Cars, Motorcycles, Campers, Commercial Vehicles, etc.). Private individuals are not allowed to post vehicles.


Access and Use of the Restricted Area

  • - The data required for free registration are public and common business data related to the dealer’s activity.

Data

LabyCarMalta is a web platform for vehicle dealers and users interested in vehicles in general. To use LabyCarMalta as a user, no registration or personal data is required; only dealers must provide public and common business data to publish listings.

During your visit, LabyCarMalta collects, in absolutely anonymous form, only the following technical data:

  • - Page name, file, or inserted information (e.g., query parameters in the URL)
  • - Source page from which the current page or file was requested
  • - Date and time of the request
  • - Amount of data transferred
  • - Access status (page transferred, page not found, etc.)
  • - Browser type and operating system used
  • - IP address and, if applicable, domain name or ISP name
  • - Traffic statistics, advertising data (via cookies – see below on cookies)

Advertising

Advertising on LabyCarMalta is minimal and optimized (not by LabyCarMalta but by its providers) through processing of usage behavior in relation to expressed interests. Cookies used for this purpose are stored on your computer’s hard drive and enable recognition but do not allow personal identification.

Data from clicked banners or visited subpages are used anonymously by third parties for the purpose of displaying personalized content. These processes are based on laws that allow Laby, under its legitimate interest to fund the platform through advertising (Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR). We use different ad network providers for online advertising delivery.


Statistical Analysis and Cookies

When using LabyCarMalta, anonymous profiles are automatically created, not linked to personal data, for statistical analysis and user-oriented design. This is based on legal provisions allowing processing of data for overriding legitimate interests in usage-oriented design and statistical analysis (Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR).

DataFor this purpose, cookies (alphanumeric identifiers) are used. These allow our systems to temporarily distinguish your browser from others and ensure continuity during your visit, including avoiding repetitive ads.

  • - Laby receives only statistical, non-personal data for market research and advertising optimization
